I have been practicing psychotherapy since 2001 and co-facilitating Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction groups since 2006. My approach to psychotherapy is grounded by my belief that each of us have deeply rooted and innate abilities to heal, change and grow. Emphasizing the importance of developing self-compassion, my role is as a listener and guide, helping you gain insight into the story of your life, navigate problems, establish goals, discover new meaning and develop inner wisdom.

My psychotherapy approach incorporates mindfulness, focusing, emotion processing and narrative techniques.

I see individuals experiencing:

  • feelings of anxiety

  • depression

  • grief/loss

  • relationship difficulties

  • separation and divorce

  • life-stage adjustment

  • inter-cultural challenges

  • body image concerns

I have a particular interest in working with individuals from racialized groups, bi-racial/bi-cultural individuals, newcomers, and those involved in the arts.

I am conveniently located near Eglinton Avenue West and Spadina Road.

Weekend and evening appointments are available.

The cost of a one hour meeting is $180. Many health plans provide coverage for Registered Social Workers. If you have difficulties with fees, I do provide a sliding scale for those in need.
